RIVALRY PROJECTS, or RIVALRY, is an artist-run commercial art gallery located in Buffalo, NY that is committed to connecting local audiences to national and international contemporary art and ideas. Often providing emerging artists their first major solo exhibition, Rivalry champions intergenerational artists with rigorous, research-based practices who work in all media. Alongside exhibitions that bring Buffalo-based artists into dialogue with nationally and internationally recognized practitioners, Rivalry presents regular programming including lectures, reading groups, and performances that foster collaboration between artists, writers, and our community members.
